    Thurs Sept 18th 5 pm on Ice Breaker Downstairs in the Legion -Cash bar and food for purchase.

    Friday Sept 19 to Sunday Sept 21 Legion Upstairs (entrance is at the back of the building) All weekend there will be: Displays, presentations and mushroom soup by donation. Access to displays is free. Bring your specimens for identification.

    The Fungi Art Contest submissions will be on display Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon – participant form link is on the registration page.

    FRIDAY SCHEDULE
    9:30 am Friday long walk meets upstairs at the Legion and departs at 10am.
    1 to 3 pm Paul will lead the short walk. Participants will meet at the Legion and will car pool to yard creek or take the ferry to the Sicamous Beach Park / Nature Trail, depending on numbers.
    3 pm “Fungi and Climate Change” Martin Osis
    4 pm “A World of Wonder Beneath Your Feet” Paul Kroeger free presentation at Sicamous Library.
    4 to 7 pm Fungi Festival Farmers’ Market with music by local artist Austin Miller. Regular Market plus mushroom themed vendors and Archie Archer demonstrating wool dying using mushrooms. The Legion downstairs will have their famous Friday Fish and Chips and a mushroom themed special with a vegetarian option with live music from 8pm till closing.
    5 pm Long Walk returns – panel discussion reviewing the days finds and topics of interest. Cash Bar open.
    7 pm – “Mushrooms for Mental Health” Chelsea Dawn
    8 pm – Dance the rest of the night away with the Blind Bay Blues Band

    SATURDAY SCHEDULE
    9:30 am Saturday long walk meets upstairs at the Legion and departs at 10 am.
    10:30 am “Status of Medicinal Mushrooms” Martin Osis
    1 to 3 pm Paul and Mitch will lead the short walk. Participants will meet at the Legion and will car pool to yard creek. Special guest Brooke Page and Denver the truffle dog.
    1:30 pm “Healing through micro dosing” Chelsea Dawn
    2:30 pm “Wild mushroom Tapas Demonstration” with Chef Shawna.
    3 to 6 pm The Legion will host their popular meat draw downstairs with regular food service and a fabulous music jam with local musicians.
    3:30 pm – “Improving Ecological Health and Purifying water with Fungi” Erik Hrabovsky
    5 pm Long Walk returns – panel discussion reviewing the days finds and topics of interest. Cash Bar open.
    7 pm “Magic Mushroom Presentation and Q&A” Paul Kroeger
    Saturday the 2nd annual Sicamous Harvest Festival is happening at The Hub from 11 to 4 pm

    SUNDAY SCHEDULE
    9:00 am cooking demonstration of yummy wild mushroom scrambled eggs for long walk participants. (Others are welcome to have mushroom scrambled eggs by donation once the walkers are done.)
    10 am “Edible Mushrooms” Panel discussion followed by departure of the long walk with special guest Brooke Page and Denver the Truffle Dog.
    11 am “Healing through micro dosing” Chelsea Dawn
    1 to 3 pm Paul will lead the short walk. Participants will meet at the Legion and will car pool to yard creek or take the ferry to the Sicamous Beach Park / Nature Trail, depending on numbers.
    1:30 pm “Preparing mushrooms for medicine” with Martin Osis - maximum 25 participants advance registration is recommended.
    3 to 6 pm The legion will have the meat draw, food service & live music with the popular Legion open mic.
    3:30 pm Long walk returns and panel discussion and wrap up.
    4:30 pm The Fungi Festival Society AGM will be held at upstairs at the legion.
