"Celebrate the magic of the mushrooms of the Olympic Peninsula at the 2nd Annual Quinault Rainforest Mushroom Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9 AM–5 PM in Amanda Park, WA. This free, family-friendly event features engaging presentations, mushroom displays, an artisan market, kids’ activities, live music, raffles, and delicious food. Keynote speaker Noah Siegel will share his expertise and passion for wild fungi. Guests can pre-register for guided mushroom forays or hands-on workshops, including cooking, cultivation, and natural dyeing. Special events with community partners, such as Lake Quinault Lodge on Friday, October 3, add more ways to enjoy the region’s beauty and bounty. Hosted by the Coastal Shores and Spores Mycological Society, the festival unites nature lovers, foragers, and mycology fans in one of the most biodiverse temperate rainforests in the world."
