I bought an A. p. Dissectum 'Tamunesama' 1 year graft at the Hardy Plant Society Sale last fall and have not been able to find out anything about this maple. It looks a lot like my 'Red Dragon' dissectum only the leaves are a darker purple and the blade is a little wider. Has anyone ever heard of a 'Tamunesama'?

    Its all in a name

Hi, I think you must have an A. p. 'Tamukeyama' that has been mislabled! It happens all the time becuase we don't all have great handwriting, and the sun and time make it even more difficult!

Check it out, and if you disagree post us a leaf.

    Found Answer to 'Tamunasama'

Yes, Nancy was correct. The 'Tamunasama' is a 'Tamuke yama'! I bought Maples of the World and discovered that it had been misspelled. Thank you.
