Acer palmatum 'Barbara'

Here is Acer palmatum 'Barbara'

 

For a couple of years, I have been trying to find the Japanese maple 'Barbara.' It is listed and described on the Dave's Garden site. There are a couple of beautiful photos of one posted by Elmore in 2004 on a UBC Thread. If anyone knows where this cultivar might be available, I'd very much appreciate help in tracking one down. Thanks.

 

The plant is listed in two sizes available from Topiary Gardens. I have always been very satisfied with everything I have received from Diana.

Thank you Ed and Diana. I just ordered two 2 gallon Acer palmatum 'Barbara' (my wife's name) from Topiary Gardens. I also appreciate your bringing a promising new source to my attention.

 

I concur with Ed, you will not be disappointed with Diana's trees or her customer service - she's one of the first people I check with when I need to feed my addiction, and probably half of my trees are from her. :)
