'Kasagiyama' in early summer mode. The strong veining of early spring has toned down now as the leaves have aged to a nice brick red. The leaves this year have been much bigger than I have ever seen them before, up to 12.5cm (5 inches) on some leaves, so the plant must be happy and enjoying life.
