Hi there, I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I am interested in learning and doing my own grafting of my collection of Japanese Maples. Can anybody here recommend suppliers/growers/sources of getting A.P. rootstock? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hi Mike, Thanks for the response. Can you elaborate on that name 'Heritage'? I did a google search and I could not find anything relevant to Acer palmatum rootstock. What is the full name of the company/nursery? Hopefully it is in Canada. Thanks for your time!

Hi BloomBamboo, Did you get anywhere with your search? I am in the same situation and all I get is dead ends when contacting various Canadian nurseries. I know about Heritage Seedlings but am not familiar with receiving trees across the border and any permitting required. I don't want to raise seedlings for two years before I can graft.
We are out in Chilliwack BC. About 2 km's from our home is Mosterman plants inc. Mosterman Plants Inc. - BCLNA address and contact: Mailing Address: 43583 Adams Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 4L1. Tel: (604) 823-4713. For many years we purchased our root stock from them while we had our japanese maple nursery. I believe he has some AP root stock still on hand, very nice calibre, ready for grafting. There would be a min. volume order required as far as I know. Hope that helps you out
