Any early blossom trees in Vancouver esp Downtown / Westside?

making a short trip to the city and always look fwd to seeing the blossoms - has anyone seen any displays yet - like near the Westin Bayshore or out at UBC main campus? Thank you.

 

There are some flowers on 'Whitcomb' cherries, though if it really gets down to -8 this weekend, those flowers could get to look quite sad. Here are the postings from the VCBF Neighbourhood Blogs
