    Hi there!
Me and a friend found some black-staining Lactarius today (cap and stem are the parts staining) with abundant white latex. I know Lactarius can be a tricky group to ID. We picked a bunch hoping they were candy caps but alas. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone here knew of any similar species? They closely resemble both L. rufus and L. luculentus however some key characteristics are different. Anyway just curious! Thanks for being here, mushroom geeks :D
