I received this plant as a gift in May. It is located in an unheated sunroom with patio doors facing east, west and south. It is beautiful. My problem: I have to move it into my home. It is in a large pot. What is the lowest temperature it will withstand. I water it every day and it blooks continously. On day, I had five blooms on it. here has been occaisions when it has produced more than one bloom. Usually one per day. The blooms are red. What about fertilizing it? Will this plant last a long time?
Darlyn, Being braided, it is most likely a tropical hibiscus. You will need to bring it inside for the winter. Read this thread for more info. http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?p=107876#post107876
