Just have to share a photo of Bronze Age leafing out in my first spring of owning it, because pretty much every photo on line seems to try to emphasize the reticulation and red or purple aspects. But right now, it absolutely looks like it is literally made of bronze (or maybe copper with a good patina) and I LOVE it! It feels a bit laughable to be selling others on a maple with a "brown" leaf but it is absolutely beautiful. Elegant and unique in a way that the photo can't fully depict. As a bonus, the shape of the large leaf is cool, and it appears to be a vigorous grower. At this moment, it is my favorite tree!
Photo didn't come through.. Looking forward to seeing it. I think it would be an idea to place on the maple photos also under Acer shirasawanum 'Bronze Age'

Hmmm This is my third time. It says "100%" after uploading image and I can see the thumbnail. Might have to just do it from home when I return next week. Moderator, please feel free to delete this thread in the meantime. Or maybe I can?
No need to delete this thread as your photo is there. You can update it next week when you are home. It's a lovely maple btw
