I have found some old pressed flowers and am looking to identify them. They probably came from around the Prince George / Summit Lake area in BC. Unfortunately, I do not know any other information about the plants other than what is shown in the photos.

Spiraea douglasii subsp. menziesii for Plant 2. Plant 3 is some kind of lupine, I don't know if anyone will be able to go beyond that.

My first thought Re: Plant 1 was that horrible knapweed we have all over Okanagan and spreads in hay fed to range animals (cattle etc)

But if these are older dried samples maybe knapweed wasn’t (and it still is not) up that far in Prince George BC

There seem to be two distinct asters ... the E-Nature BC website has good pix for the original poster to investigate

I’d also go to library or garage/thrift sales and look for copies of the famous old Lewis Clark books (no not the USA military exploration team 1804 era) - see attached jpg

Tidying out an elderly friend’s home - I zeroed in on those old books and indeed all the dried pressed samples fell out

Now of course we know to leave the flowers and plants alone (take only pictures)
