Junglekeeper, I need a third option for both Citrus grown in containers and grown in the ground. Okay, no need to change things, I voted for both. Jim
Im surprised - not that many replies to this. I have both in ground and in pots. I am hoping that my hardy varieties do well in the ground. So far only Meyer lemons and St Ann Satsumas, Thomasville Citrangequats are producing fruit.
Two in the ground, and many in containers (black nursery containers of various sizes. Greg, if you pick the fruit from your Thomasville when it first becomes ripe it makes an excellent lime substitute, but isn't sufficiently sweet to eat out of hand until December. I had great hopes for Edmonton and kept my fingers crossed to the end. - Millet
