I'm saving my coffee grounds to put on my carrots this year, on the advice of a gardening book that says that the smell deters the carrot fleas. I'm worried though, after reading on this forum that the grounds are very acidic. Will this be harmful? Also, what is the best way to store them (if they are indeed useful) prior to distribution? I read somewhere that they can get moldy? Currently they're in a yoghurt container under water.
you could dry them out "TOTALLY", then freez them in the freezer or you need to keep them super dry and then they will stay freash. they will get moldy if you keep them wet I would think.
