Hi all, The International Maple Society (TIMS) seeks to encourage research on the maple species worldwide. Following support of previous work, the International Maple Society is providing a £1200 bursary for a project focused on the conservation of maple species. We are inviting interested institutions or individuals to apply for the grant. The applicant must comply with the following criteria: 1 The applicant must be a member of the International Maple Society, which includes the North American Branch and the members from the UK and other parts of the world; 2 Deadline for submissions is 30 August 2024. Please email v_karaman_castro@maplesociety.org for an application form; 3 Members of the Taxonomic Working Group of the International Maple Society will have the deciding vote on which project to support; 4 If successful then the International Maple Society will: a-expect a full written report covering all aspects of the project, once complete; b-need a short report (around 1500 words) with images to go into our newsletter. 5 This bursary can fund all or part of a larger project; 6 Submissions via email will be accepted. We are looking forward to receiving your application!
