I have a mature, very large Copper Beech tree which has been losing its leaves over the last three to four weeks starting at the top and moving down. The leaves seem to curl up and drop off. We had a very dry spring, but during the past month we have more than made up for that with plenty of rain.
I bought this house two years ago and was told this was a specimen tree and very valuable. It is about twenty feet tall, 15 feet wide and the trunk is about 12 inches thick.
Any ideas or what should I be looking for? Thanks.

Have an ISA Certified Arborist look at it. It's not a particularly big one, actually, but you might like to save it anyway, of course.

Thanks. I have contacted an arborist and waiting for a callback.
Just want to know if a treee like this loses most of its leaves in June can it survive another year ??
