Hello A few days ago and elderly Italian lady gave me some leaves from a plant that grows in fields. She only knew the name of the plant in the local dialect - Susei. I was hoping someone would be able to identify the plant for me. She uses it in soups and for risottos. It is also possible to blanch and then gently fry in butter which I did with the leaves. They are delicious, taste of spinach but are a lot sweeter. I made a Susei risotto tonight which was very tasty. Many thanks.
