Forums maintenance - Apr 25 @ 9am Vancouver time

Hi all,

I'll be taking the forums down for about a half hour on Tues Apr 25 at 9am Vancouver time in order to do some behind-the-scenes maintenance.

Confirming that this is indeed on track for tomorrow. It actually may take a bit longer than half an hour, I'll do what I can to keep the time short.

...and failed. While I was able to update the software to the last iteration of version 1, it unfortunately meant the customized templates we use were out of date (the look and feel of the site)... and those have been removed and are no longer available.

I've rolled back everything to where we were before today. It's going to mean that the next update to the forums will be a major one, as we move to version 2. But that's going to take some planning.

 

Thanks for the explanation, Daniel. I'm always interested to learn what goes on behind what we see, and I'm so grateful that the effort is put into maintaining these forums.
