grape planting

I have existing grapevines that I would like to replace with new ones. Is it possible to replace the old vines with the new ones in the same location ?

 

If the old vines are healthy, replacing them with new ones is no problem; I've done it a number of times over the last 45 years. I've even added a second vine in the same space as an existing one without any difficulties.

 

Thanks. Appreciate the reply. I plan to replace concords with ES-56 or Niagara.
