Thanks for the help Ralph I will try it. If anyone has directions on how to grow grape vines that would be a help. I just started growing them in the spring. Thanks Ralph. John johnr433@hotmail.com
Rayne looks to be still part of the Mississippi delta so the first concern would be drainage. Most grapes don't like to have wet feet for any length of time. There are rootstocks that are more tolerant than most. Other than that, as with most plants your particular location (climate and micro-climate) will have a great influence on growth and growing techniques. Depending on your personal inclinations, visit local vinyards, nurseries, often university Ag departments and talk to growers (they talk a lot), or Google "grape growing" and follow any interesting leads. With a bit of luck it'll become an obsession. Watch for the warning signs and sighs in family and friends: rolling of eyes, frequent checking of their watches... Just kidding (a bit). Enjoy. Ralph
Thanks Ralph you have been a very big help. The cutting are growing so far. Thanks. John johnr433@hotmail.com
