I have a beautiful aloe vera for about 3 years and it is doing fantastic. My problem is I now have 2 more new plants coming up in the pot. I have the original plant in a 10 inch pot and I don't want the 2 new ones to crowd it out. I would also like to take the new ones and make 2 separate plants out of them also. Can someone give me advice as to how to go about dividing them? Thanks.

Its really very simple to do. Just take it all out of the pot and cut the "offsets" from the mother plant. Then plant them in sandy mix. It is best to wait until the offsets have roots of their own before doing this. Dig around under them with your finger to find out if they do.
