Hi everyone. Well, here I am again.. A very much heartbroken Luke faced with moving out and on to who knows where. It’s highly unlikely that wherever I end upI’ll be lucky enough to be able to accommodate my beloved collection of rare and beautiful Japanese Maples. I am going to take a picture of each tree, name itand put it near something for size reference. I have based costings (which are negotiable to apoint) on a number of factors. What I paid for them, how long I have had and cared for them. Each tree is happy and healthy and had been potted in to my preferred medium, which is peat/John Innes Ericaceous compost, washed potting grit andMelcourt mini propagating pine bark chips. They have been planted high in the pot and root flareexposed where possible. They have been meticulously cared for and no expense has beenspared. I didn’t buy these trees with the intention of selling them, so I have cared for them with a view of enjoying them for many years. If anybody has any questions please feel free to ask. For the short while I have been on this forum, I have to say that I have very much enjoyed your postings. And I surely will miss seeing them when you move on. But perhaps you will be fortunate enough to be able to keep at least some of your prizes and regale us once again in future.
Large 100-120cm Acer Japanese Maple Trees - Orange Dream - Garden Plants (gardeningexpress.co.uk) For reasons I do not understand, copy and paste does not give a link per se, but if you google the address above you will see a 1 m Orange Dream for sale in the UK for £59.99. I happen to have one in my back garden about 3m tall. Buy Acer palmatum Shishigashira (Japanese Maple) in the UK (jacksonsnurseries.co.uk) I bought one of these last year for £29.99. It has a 10 cm trunk with three bushy upright branches to 50 cm, akin to what I think is Luke's right hand plant which may be 1 m (looking at Luke's sixth thumbnail down in the right column). I also have a fine 20 year old one on the front lawn, still only 1 m tall but bushier. N.B. They are a lot of work Alain, as they’re all in pots. If I thought getting them to you and you look after them until I’d sorted my own house out, I’d hire a 7.5 ton lorry and drive them down to you myself.

That is now my complete list. I want to stress that if you’re interested in a tree but think the price is too high I will not be offended by you messaging me with an offer. I willing to let each one of these beautiful trees go for a little less than the asking price. I’m being forced out of my home because my landlady’s son wants to move back in. I really need these shifted as soon as possible. Last time this happened you were all really helpful and posted them onto different sites etc. Is there any chance whatsoever this could be done again.
