    Hi,
My family recently bought new soil from supersoil in surrey and we noticed that all over where the soil had been watered fungus was growing. Could anyone please help identifying this?
    Thanks,
    Jayda

    Hi @Jayda
These are the mushrooms of a fungus that is a member of genus Peziza, one of the Cup Fungi.
There are many species in this genus and a more precise ID would require specimen -in-hand ... but in general you can consider this fungus beneficial to your soil; breaks down things into forms more easily taken up by plants.
