Hi there i’m just wondering if anyone can help me, i’ve had my cactus for 14 years and in the last three months the base of the main cactus and the base of it’s two arms have gone quite yellow/brown. Otherwise the cactus seems fairly healthy, the brown spots aren’t ‘mushy’, and i’ve repotted and got some cacti feed to try and help it along.

I really hope it’s not dying because like I say I have had it for a long time. I’m concerned that it may not get enough sunlight being an indoor plant in the UK.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks so much,

    Nik

Corking, formation of wood to support the increasing weight. So no, it is probably not dying.
