I recently purchased a lime tree that was leaning very badly one way. It was the only one my local nursery had in stock and I wanted one badly. I was wondering if there was anyway to get it to grow straight up again? I tried staking it for a while but that didn’t seem to help. Should I leave it staked straight up or leave it leaning to the side and let it grow on its own?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

A photo of the tree would be helpful. In any case, I suspect the tree will balance itself out eventually as it grows.
