Magnolia Barbara Cook

    I planted this Magnolia Barbara Cook last spring as a one year old. The difficulties of new house building, drought and deer have been very hard on it. Now the only viable shoots are coming from the center of what I assume is the graft? Is this going to be M. Barbara Cook?

    Nope, looks like it will be rootstock.
