These purple blooms look similar to Merrybells yet are not yellow but purple. If you know what these are I would appreciate your advice. They don't join a wrap-around leaf like a Merrybell either. PhotoTonyG

Yes, These are thin as they are growing wild. I suspect. Rapunculoids seem to be the accurate fit. With your previous help I was able to find this photo as well. Redirect Notice Seems they grow more thickly when cared for by a gardener. I think you have provided THE nameplate for this one very good looking ' weed'. Many thanks. Tony, [ TG ]
