These flowers were found in the Upper Big Piney Creek wilderness area in the Ozark Mountains in Johnson County, Arkansas, USA. It appeared that there were 2 separate color variations. A purplish darker blue and a lighter blue. The photos were taken 06-13-12. The leaves had already fallen off the plants and seed pods starting to form.
