Hello. I too have a Japanese Maple that I need help identifying. It has been in the pot seen in the picture for about 8 years. The leaves are very light and feathery. Thanks in advance for the help
Good evening and welcome to the maples forum. Tbh it is easier with summer leaf and even then there are so many red dissectums out there, it may still be difficult to ID. So atm I would just say red dissectum. Sorry I cannot help further, but another member might have more of a positive ID for you. Looks a lovely tree whatever it is.
A bit hard to tell this early in the year while it's still leafing out. A picture of the spring colors in a few weeks, followed by a picture of the summer color/mature leaf profile, would probably help identify it. From what I see here. I think all I could say is it's a grafted weeping cultivar.
