We could have some photos of gardens in this forum. I'm sure people have better photos than mine of Nitobe Memorial Garden at UBC, so feel free to add them. Actually, the banner photo on the garden's website manages to combine two of my photos into a better picture than what I'm posting - worth a look. This graceful tree is a 'Taki-nioi' ornamental cherry. It blooms in early or mid-May and has a wonderful fragrance.
