Out-of-place Butterfly

    Fort St. John, BC Canada
    This butterfly flew into the auditorium of a church building about an hour north of Fort St. John, BC, and clung to the ceiling near a light. Could it be a Compton tortoiseshell?

    Looks like it! This species was last seen in Estonia ca 50 years ago, so it may be pretty rare sight!
