I would like to know the right time of year to cut back my pampas grass and how far do i trim back. I trimmed mine back in early April this year and is just starting to flower now, i think this is a little late with winter approaching.
I usually trim mine back - give it a "hair cut" - sometime in March, before the new shoots really start to show. Well, I won't have to do it any more - got rid of ours as it was getting a bit raggedty.
