I planted a pampass grass 6 years ago and it still hasn't bloomed. It gets full sun, good drainage etc. I cut it back in the spring each year to about 2 feet. Perhaps this is too much?

I don't think I've seen people pruning the Pampas grass itself, only chopping out old dead stuff and flowers.

It's Pampas, not pampass. Funny though.

Instead of cutting back in Spring, why not try Winter?
