Any idea why some of my Peve Multicolour has curling and brown tips. Now that it’s finally opened up?

    I dunno.

But, a very similar thing happens to shin deshojo here. In my case, and of my neighbors, the affected first flush leaves will be replaced by the normal second flush of growth in May/June (which is not similarly affected). Since it has been going on for a bit more than a decade, I haven't been motivated to spend my spring's spraying stuff to prevent it.

Hi Lisa, this tends to be a Spring sun scorch on very tender new leaves. Also the strong winds in March can have this effect.
As J @Osoyoung said, 'no problems on second flush'. Quote (which is not similarly affected)

The leaves tend to be a bit hardier in late Spring early Summer.
So IMO don't worry too much, and next Spring, consider a bit more protection for those delicate leaves from the sun and wind.

Thanks @Acerholic it’s been mostly damp here but we had 1 day it hit 24c then back to 14c and cloudy with rain. Probably just the extreme that hurt it cause it’s been quite cool prior to the 1 day
