What is this plant? (Aside from very sick.) I think it is a fern or a moss, but I could be wrong. It has tiny soft needle-like stems and leaves, and is growing from several stems (like a fern) out of the dirt. Please help my identify my sick plant I want to save it. I bought it at Target, and they said it was a low light plant. At first it was soft and green, now the tiny leaves are turning a light brown color and falling off.
    Thank You,
    M

It may be an Asparagus Fern which is neither a fern nor a moss. Try looking up Sprenger's Asparagus Fern and see if this could be it...

HI there .. this plant is called a Pordacarpus .. something like a fern .. u can cut all the brown off and it will sprout new shoots very quickly .. I have one that went thru a spider might problem .. and went brown so i cut it right back to just stems .. fuszzy lil things left on it .. and it grew back just nicely .. . and it does like bright light and keep somewhat moist but not really dried out ..
    good luck with it ..
