Hi there! I just planted two new plum trees in my front yard, however one of them are showing brown leaf edges in the leaves especially in new leaf growth, please help! I have used iron liquid fertilizer as I was previously trying to treat the plant's yellowing spots, and of course used berry tree slow release fertilizer when I first transplanted the tree over a month ago. Thank you!
That so much looks like Magnesium deficiency. Try A few tablespoons of Epsom salts watered in, if it's Mg veins will be green in the morning.
I see, thank you! With winter approaching, should I wait till spring before supplementing the soil with Epsom salts? The leaves have almost dropped entirely from the trees.
