Hello, I have several photinia fraseri that have gone a pale green colour with red spots. I've tried giving them some compost and fish fertilizer but nothing has improved. Any suggestions?
Thanks for that info. Since I posted this question a few months ago, I have found that the best solution is to put cedar fronds that have fallen off the trees around the photinia. The cedar kills the fungus. The photinia looks healthy now.
I have approximately 40 Photinia which are used as a hedge in back yard. I lost 15 of them as a result of the fungus a few years ago. Removing the dead Photina leaves worked, but I'm interested in how I can get some cedar fronds? Any ideas?
Just a reminder: I'd prefer no commercial exchanges involving cash on the boards. You can either use the private messaging system to work with someone specifically or consider trading of items, plants, services, etc.
If leaves are falling off , is it too late to save them. What would you replace them with. They are a great buffer around our deck.
