I am seeking opinions on this proposal. WHAT & WHY Compile profiles on the makeup of Citrus forum participants. This information will provide us with an idea of the type of knowledge that can be found here. It then also gives us a simple way to direct queries towards select audiences by citing a code (e.g. E3+R2 for outdoor, in-ground growers). HOW Set up two polls to capture the characteristics of a participant. The polls will be anonymous and can be pinned at the top of the forum if they turn out to be useful. Code: Which [b](E)nvironment[/b] do you grow citrus in? (Select all that apply.) 1. Indoors: Home 2. Indoors: Greenhouse or solarium 3. Outdoors Code: Which [b](R)eceptacle[/b] do you grow citrus in? (Select all that apply.) 1. Container 2. Ground Given the limited number of regular participants in the forum at this time the poll results will likely be limited to that of interest only (but think big). What do you think? Whoa, hold you horses. I haven't set up the polls yet - just soliciting opinions regarding the idea of polls (but I'm glad there's interest).
Shouldn't that be "don't drop your fruits yet"? Maybe you should just go ahead and start collecting the data, submitting of it already being an indication of approval.
Okay, insert your own joke here... If you set up the poll, I'll gladly participate. Since you went through the trouble of detailing everything, I thought I might as well go ahead and answer. Indeed, my response is an indication of my interest. Regardless, I'm still just a seedling, hoping some day to be a grafted tree (but not a grafted Etrog).
