I have a clump of PURPLE BARON ..ORNAMENTAL MILLET the name plate says . It was very pretty and i used the brushes dry in the winter..NOW it looks like dead only where I clipped of the dead branches before winter . It was in a BIG pot but in the snow in Vancouver . It was the 1st time I had it last summer. Will it come up again or it is DEAD and only grows ONCE? IF it will grow again can I devide into two clumps ? Thank you
It only grows once. Perennial plants produce crowns of more substantial, overwintering roots. Some may even have evergreen basal foliage rosettes that sit on top of the ground all winter.
