    This idea of (re-)establishment from nearish populations is somewhat akin to the governmental rationalization as to why Marah oregana (with circa 100 plants in BC), is not considered an endangered species -- because it seems like the origins of these BC plants is from occasional northward migration of Washington state-origin seed.
