Rhipsalis white puffs on plant

    Just picked up this Rooted cutting at nursery. It is labelled Rhipsali Cruciformis. Are the white spikes at the nodes old flowers or the cotton that mealybugs leave behind?

    Also many thanks for the link. I couldn't figure out if cruciformis was the real name or a category if different types.

    You're welcome. It looks like Rhipsalis cruciformis has been relegated to being a synonym of Lepismium cruciforme.
