Ama-no-gawa goes where no cherry dares to go—four trees in a trench next to their building on the south side of King Edward (west side of Ash). Finishing off with a flourish at April 20, 2021.
On the west side of Tupper, north of W. 24th, the Star Cherry offers shelter from the rain at March 26, 2022.
On the grounds of the BC Women's and Children's Hospital, just outside the passageway between Brock Fahrni unit and Shaughnessy wing, there is a magnificent Shirotae, and a small one beside it.
Tupper Street is one block west of Cambie Street, thus just sneaking in past the dividing line (Cambie) between South Cambie and Riley Park. So it is legitimately, if sneakily, in South Cambie neighbourhood.
On my way home from VD on Easter Sunday and I saw this beautiful Easter Egg Site......The Ukon Cherries at 37th and Baillie all had Easter Eggs hanging from them!
Again on the grounds of the BC Children's and Women's Hospital, outside the passageway from Women's Hospital to Shaughnessy Wing, there are two 'Shirofugen' in full bloom and a large 'Kanzan' starting to fade: Also, in the Safeway parking lot at King Edward and Oak Street (SE corner), there is a small, but lovely 'Shirofugen':
