A 'Shiro-fugen' at the cul-de-sac on 121A street off 56 Avenue, next to a 'Shogetsu' across the fence that is really in a back yard on 57 Avenue. It's nice to see them together - they look totally different. The 'Shiro-fugen' is on the right in the first two photos, and its flowers are the fourth photo; 'Shogetsu' flowers are the third photo.
I think I "found" these trees on a map last August, and managed to notice almost in time that I'd put them on the festival map pending photos. Deborah Jones, who lives in North Delta, kindly went to photograph them for me. At the George Mackie Library, on the NE corner of 84 Avenue and 112 Street, 'Kanzan' wrap the corner, ten on 112 Street north of the intersection and six on 84 Avenue east of the intersection. There appears to be a little grove of them on the property as well. It looks like a lovely spot.
