I don't know if I am in the right place or not to ask my questions. But here goes: I live in San Antonio Texas and I inherited a tangerine tree when I bought the house. This tree stands about 15' high has three trunks and is loaded with tangerines right now. They are all beautifully yellow/orange. I would like to know what type of tangerine tree it is and when I should harvest them?

    Have a look at:
The numerous images of mandarins at these links may help you in identifying your tree. Also, I imagine there would be some local authorities who could help you since you live in a citrus-producing state.

Are the mandarins ready for harvesting? Do a taste test!
