If you'd like a deeper dive into Erythronium species check this link out. An amazing amount of info of Erythronium from Europe and North America. Part 1 discusses the role of ants in the seed dispersal of the Eastern North American species. Part 2 is a wealth of info and towards the bottom there is a subsection on hybridization of E. orogonum and E. revolutum near Skutz Falls in the Cowichan area of Vancouver Island.
