I had just bought myself a Dracena Marginata from Bunnings and whilst loading it into my car the top of one of the stems snapped off. It hasn't really effected the aesthetic of the plant overall, but I am wondering if the snapped part of the stem will continue to grow? I have attached some pictures to give you a better idea.

It should grow the way your second photo shows, where the main trunk was cut off. Did you keep the snapped off piece? You should (might) be able to get that to grow by just planting it in soil. Remove the leaves that would be in the soil.

The remaining stem will grow, but it will likely send up 2, 3, or more shoots to take the place of the one that snapped off. It probably will look just fine, although the initial leaves will be shorter.
