That's so frustrating! I remember Lorax writing here about not openly identifying certain desirable plants in Ecuador because people might misuse or damage or dig up the plants. I knew there was considerable poaching of certain carnivorous plants, but I'd hoped that the difficulty in keeping them happy would make them less desirable for thieves.
