What kind of Wire Trellis to Support Grape Vines?

What type of trellis wire should I use to support my grape vines?

Should it be bare wire, coppper, steel, aluminum or should it be plastic coated?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is my first time growing grapes!

Galvanized steel is the usual, 9 gauge for the mains and 12 ga (sometimes high tensile) for the various other foliage supports. It seems every time I look there is a new (to me at least) style of trellis for a particular variety or growing situation. You need serious end supports and anchors by the way.
I have heard of but not seen the use of Bayco horse fencing wire; check with John at Ferris fencing in Parksville for info on all of this. He is very available and helpful.

Aluminum,You can get that at the Home Depot.You can get 200 feet in a roll wrap in a orange box for under $7.00's 14 gauge.And it dont rust
