Hello, I have a new pergola which I would like to plant with red grapes. Could anyone suggest a fast growing grape that would be good. I will not rely on them for food or wine, but as an ornamental only. I need one that would grow fast and would produce fast. Thanks!
Vitis vinifera purpurea is an ornamental grape grown more for foliage effects than fruit. Fast, and easy.
