What type of palm is this?

I am looking for assistance in identifying the palm leaf represented in this sculpture (held by the upper central female figure). This sculpture is located in Brazil and the sculptor often used fauna and flora local to Brazil in his pieces. It is likely that the palm represented is native to Brazil (or possibly Sao Paulo, more specifically).

Could be a Royal palm (Roystonea oleracea).
