Bloom has a forget-me-not kind of look. About the only thing I know about this tiny thing is it isn't a Veronica. This was in the lawn at a friends goat farm on the south end of Whidbey. Full sun, never gets watered, grows quite happily. I apologize, this is the only picture I have of this little beauty.
Agree. There are so many weedy Veronicas. Yours has very hairy leaves and stems...might be Veronica wormskjoldii...American alpine speedwell...A native to USA. Hairy, opposite leaves - pictures of Veronica Wormskjoldii, Plantaginaceae - wildflowers of West USA Veronica wormskjoldii (American alpine speedwell): Go Botany Veronica wormskjoldii (American alpine speedwell): Go Botany
Thank you! It does look like this. Makes me wonder, though, since I'm only 250 feet above sea level....
